My sister was here from Iowa all of last week so I didn’t get much sewing done. She got 2 of her tops quilted on my machine tho and picked up her Dear Jane which she had quilted here in Chicago.
My sister’s Dear Jane quilt.
She also got the binding sewn on before she left. It was really cute. She used two different fabrics to create a small piping around the border. I am going to have to find instructions on the Internet and give it a try.
While she was so busy I just lounged around wondering what to do with this…
How should this be quilted??
Any ideas would be appreciated!
Today is Bee meeting day at my house. I had totally spaced it out so now I have my friends coming at one o’clock for bee , my daughter has a bunch of her friends coming at the same time, and my sister is here visiting from Iowa. Yikes!
At least I have my row (s) are done. I made Sunbonnet Sues and then thought they might be too babyish so I also made the churn dash blocks. All together I think they look pretty good. Hopefully my bee mate thinks so too.

I have finally finished another quilt. It is destined to be a birthday gift for our niece, Kerry, who just turned 30. I used the Quick Curve Ruler that my youngest daughter gave me for Christmas last year. The “quick” part never really happened for me, but I am happy to know that I can do curves! And I am pleased with the results. I hope she likes it! Obviously the dog likes it !
